The Eskan Bank Realty Income Trust (EBRIT) is the first public Real Estate Investment Trust “REIT” in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Initially, EBRIT was a privately owned trust known as the Bahrain Property Musharaka Trust, which underwent and Initial Public Offering in late 2016, and thus became EBRIT. This was done to offer an opportunity to retail as well as institutional investors to invest into real estate.
The Trust’s primary objective is to maximize stable Shari’ah compliant income generation for the unitholders with a long-term approach and risk adjusted manner. EBRIT's management continue to strive to achieve this objective and maximize value to unitholders. We continually look for new opportunities and explore different avenues in order to achieve these objectives.
